Systems Monitoring portal
This is the screen an owner opens from the city on a cold night. Cameras, power, water, climate and the lake itself, on one page, watched by us at the same time.
A working demonstration. House readings and camera stills are simulated demo data for a sample property. Weather and lake level load live when briefing APIs respond; the portal footer names what is live vs sample.
Larch House
All systems normal.
2 things on our watch list: propane at 38%, refill on the next visit; crawlspace at 44°F, two degrees above its alert.

If anything stops reporting, we treat the silence as an alarm.

Every property is different, so every portal is built for the house it watches. These are the systems most upper-lake homes run on, and the readings we bring to one screen.
Power
Battery charge, voltage and temperature, solar coming in, what the house is drawing, and the generator: whether it is armed, when it last ran, and when it needs service.
Water
Cistern, propane, generator fuel and grey water, read remotely. The well pump and pressure tank, an automatic shut-off on the main, and a leak sensor wherever water can escape.
Climate
Temperature and humidity in the rooms, the crawlspace, the mechanical room and the battery enclosure, each with its own alert. Damp is watched as closely as cold.
Cameras
Live views and short clips from the places you would walk to first. They look where you have chosen to have them look, and nowhere else.
Doors and safety
Door contacts on the house and boathouse, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and a log of every visit by our crew.
The lake
The forecast at your end of the lake, freezing nights ahead, wind, smoke, and the lake level against full pool. The same reads we make before we take the boat out.
No grid, no phone line, nobody home. Each link in the chain has its own power and is chosen to be serviced by boat.
An alert on your phone is only the start. Monitoring is only as good as whoever answers it, and ours answers by boat.
Watch
Propane under 40%. A crawlspace near its alert. Added to the next visit, logged in the portal. Nothing for you to do.
Call
The house falls toward its freeze alert, the battery is low and the generator has not started, or a camera sees something it should not.
Go
A leak sensor is wet, the heat has failed, or the monitoring itself goes quiet. If it needs someone there, we go as soon as it is safe.
We aren't a security company, and we don't dispatch police or fire. We're the people likely to know first, and who can actually get there.
It's added on top of a retainer and quoted for the house: the sensors, cameras, connection and power that run them, and what you want to see. It starts with an assessment, where we survey the site's sky, sun, power and access along with the house.
